Privacy Policy

This is an English translation for convenience. The Japanese version (プライバシーポリシー) is the official text, including the notice required by Japan's Telecommunications Business Act. If the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.

What you enter in the calculators

We do not collect what you enter. All of the calculators on Okane Keisan run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter (salary, loan amount, age and so on) are not sent to our server or to Google Analytics (described below), and they are not stored. When you close or reload the page, what you entered is cleared.

Information sent to external parties (notice under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act)

This site uses Google Analytics to see how it is used. When you open a page, your device sends the following information to the following company.

Recipient (the company that receives the information)

Google LLC and its affiliates (service name: Google Analytics)

Information sent

• Information about your device, browser and network that is normally used when you access the internet
• Your approximate location
• Which pages you viewed and what you did on this site (for example, that you used a calculator and the name of that calculator)
• Identifiers (IDs) stored in cookies or similar technology to tell users apart

Our purpose

To find out statistically which pages and calculators are used most, and to use that to improve the calculators and explanations.

The recipient's purpose

To analyse trends and history of how users browse. Google may also use the information it collects for the purposes described in its own privacy policy (providing and improving its services, measuring performance and so on).

How to stop the transmission

You can stop it by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on in your browser. You can also turn off cookies in your browser settings.

We do not send information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address, or the numbers you enter into the calculators. For how Google handles information, see the pages below.

Advertising

At present this site does not use an advertising service (such as Google AdSense). If we introduce one, we will add the recipient, the information sent and the purposes to this policy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics, described above, sets cookies to measure how the site is used. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings.

Children's privacy

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The latest version is always on this page.
